Real freedom lies in wildness, not in civilization.... In wilderness I sense the miracle of life, and behind it our scientific accomplishments fade to trivia.

When despair for the world grows in me...I come into the peace of wild things

Wild Madness!
It happens sometimes, with the
impromptu howl at a full moon.
The rising of life's 'sublime' in a
surge so strong, as birth to life.
Where animal passions courageously
rule the wild beast absent of thought.
Here, with the rage of ravenous want,
Desire rips away the flesh of everyday
and devours all that had contained me—
be it encased in mind, body or stone.
In this untamed beast, no longer man,
lies the root of my wild madness.
Bless you, O' bless you, you blessed moon.
